Access is part of the job

A website should not make people work around it.

I want All Zilla No Filler to be usable by as many people as possible, across different devices, browsers and ways of navigating.

Owner: Danny PhilpottStatement prepared: 1 September 2026

My commitment

I am working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the practical standard for this website.

Accessibility is treated as ongoing work, not a badge. New pages and changes should be checked for readable structure, keyboard access, contrast, responsive behaviour and useful alternative text.

What should work

You should be able to:

  • zoom the page without losing important information;
  • use the site on mobile, tablet and desktop screens;
  • navigate interactive controls using a keyboard;
  • see a visible focus indicator when moving through links and controls;
  • understand pages from their headings and reading order;
  • pause or avoid non-essential motion where your device requests reduced motion;
  • use meaningful text alternatives where images communicate information.

Current status

This is a new website and has been checked during design and development, but it has not yet had an independent accessibility audit or been tested with every combination of assistive technology and browser. I therefore do not claim full WCAG conformance.

Some third-party tools, embedded services, older portfolio images or documents may have limitations outside my direct control. I will describe significant known issues here when identified and provide an alternative wherever reasonably possible.

Technology

The website is built with WordPress and Elementor and relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies.

Older browsers, disabled JavaScript or third-party browser extensions may affect some enhanced features, but core information and contact routes should remain available.

How I check it

I use self-evaluation during the build, including responsive review, keyboard checks, heading and landmark review, contrast checks and tests for content overflow. Further checks will be completed after the live site, forms, analytics and cookie controls are all in place.

The statement will be updated when material accessibility work or testing is completed.

Found a barrier?

Please tell me what went wrong, which page you were using and, if useful, the device or assistive technology involved.

Email danny@aznf.co.uk. I will take the issue seriously, reply as soon as reasonably possible and try to provide the information or service in another format.
